Before mythical creature was discovered, humans thought themself to be the most superior one, above the animals and insects. When they found out there were creatures powerful than them, they tried to eliminated them. Some out of fear and some just want to find power.
However, there were some human who lived in harmony with the mythical ones, and the mixed race appeared. It wasn't accepted, as expected. Then the war came, between the magical ones, half and full against the humans. The magical one won, humans accepted the halfs and they lived peacefully with each other, though some still didn't accept it.
Time passed, people changed, the halfs became stronger, even stronger than the full-blooded one. And afterall, they are still part of human. They grew greedier and search for more power.
